Configuration Download • Server IP Address - The TFTP Server IP Address from which the configuration files are downloaded. • Source File Name (1-64 characters) - Indicates the configuration files to be downloaded. • Destination File - The destination file to which the configuration file is downloaded. The possible field values are: - Running Configuration - Downloads commands into the Running Configuration file. - Startup Configuration - Downloads the Startup Configuration file, and overwrites it. - - Downloads commands into a configuration backup file. The filename is determined by the user at download. Downloading Files 1 Open the File Download from Server page. 2 Define the file type to download. 3 Define the fields. 4 Click Apply Changes. The software is downloaded to the device. To activate the selected Image file, reset the device. For information on resetting the device, see Switching Between Stack Masters. Downloading Files Using CLI Commands The following table summarizes the equivalent CLI commands for setting fields displayed in the File Download from Server page. Table 6-53. File Download CLI Commands CLI Command copy source-url destination-url Description Copies any file from a source to a destination. The following is an example of the CLI commands: console# copy tftp://10.6.6.64/pp.txt startup-config ....! Copy: 575 bytes copied in 00:00:06 [hh:mm:ss] 01-Jan-2000 06:41:55 %COPY-W-TRAP: The copy operation was completed successfully NOTE: Each exclamation mark (!) indicates that ten packets were successfully transferred.
