Defect ID: DEFECT000352293 Technical Severity: Medium Summary: Burst of jumbo frames may cause forwarding to cease on some ports of the 16x10 modules. Symptom: With 8Gb/s of ISCI traffic at layer-2 sent through the RX, the traffic was balanced across 2 10G ports on ingress and 2 on egress. These 10G ports were on 16x10 modules. For example, ingress ports could be 3/5, 4/5 and egress 3/1 4/1. When one of the ingress ports was disabled, with flow-control enabled, the remaining port would stop forwarding traffic until the disabled port was reenabled. However with flow-control removed from the remaining enabled, port and the failover repeated, the port would keep forwarding traffic and accept the aggregate load of around 8Gb/s. Workaround: Remove flow-control on port.
