Provides system ID, status information, and system error messages. The LCD lights blue during normal system operation. NOTE: If the system is connected to AC power and an error has been detected, the LCD lights amber regardless of whether the system has been powered on. The identification buttons on the front and back panels can be used to locate a particular system within a rack. When one of these buttons is pushed, the LCD panel on the front and the system status indicator on the back flash blue until one of the buttons is pushed again. One optional slim-line SATA DVD-ROM drive or DVD+RW drive. NOTE: DVD devices are data only. 6 For a SCSI tape backup unit, disconnect the power and signal cables from the back of the unit.	110
7 Install the slide rails or the tray to the flex-bay blank.	110

3 Slide the storage controller’s card edge connector into the card slot on the riser until the card is fully seated. See Figure 3-20.	113

1 Pull back gently on the right edge of the battery bay and draw out the RAID battery from the battery carrier.	116
