Do not be alarmed if you are seeing cleaning light come on more frequently than you are used to seeing on Dell PowerVault LTO-2. If you perform a backup with verify, you will see a cleaning request twice as frequently as when verify is not used. This is because verify enabled will double the amount of passes the tape makes over the head. Most backup applications support Tape Alerts. (Power light on Solid-Green, Activity light on Solid-Green, Status light on Solid-Amber) Eject tape when done. No 7 segment display indicator.
