Diagnostic Light Codes During POST The following table lists the codes for the diagnostic lights that occur while the computer is performing the POST. NOTE: If the computer is turned on and all four diagnostic lights are not on, see "Diagnostic Light Codes Before POST" on page 33. Diagnostic Light Codes During POST Light Pattern A B C D Cause Possible BIOS failure, and the computer is in the recovery mode. Possible microprocessor failure.
