Removing the system fan
1.
Follow the procedure in
Before working inside your computer

Remove the
base cover
.
3.
To remove the system fan:
a)
Disconnect the system fan cable from the connector on the system board.
b)
Remove the two M2.0 x 4 screws that secure the system fan to the system [1].
c)
Lift the system fan away from the system [2].
