Remote Control Overview The remote control can be used instead of the control panel to remotely operate your portable air conditioner. The remote's functions are the same as on the control panel. NOTES: Be careful not drop the remote control. Do not place the remote control in a location exposed to direct sunlight. Power Button Up Button Fan Speed Button LCD Display Down Button Mode Button Timer Button Fahrenheit / Celsius Button Button Power (Up) (Down) Mode Fan Speed Timer F/C Function Powers the unit on or off. Increases the Temperature Timer, or Clock settings. Decreases the Temperature, Timer, or Clock settings. Sets the mode: Cool, Dehumidify, Fan Only, or Heat (HS model) will appear on the LCD. Sets the fan speed. The High, Medium or Low indicator will appear on the LCD depending on the mode you set. Used to enable the timer. Switches the temperature between Fahrenheit and Celsius. AAA AA A Installing the batteries AAA AAA 1) Remove the cover on the back of the remote control. 2) Insert the batteries with the (+) and (-) ends pointing in the correct direction. 3) Slide the cover back on. CAUTION: Use only AAA batteries. Remove the batteries if the remote control will not be used for one month or longer. Do not attempt to recharge batteries not designed to be recharged. All batteries should be replaced at the same time. Do not mix old and new batteries. Do not dispose of batteries in a fire as they may explode. 13

Remote Control Overview
The remote control can be used instead of the control panel to remotely
operate your portable air conditioner. The remote’s functions are the

Installing the batteries
Button

Power
Powers the unit on or off.
(Up)
Increases the Temperature Timer, or Clock
settings.
(Down)
Decreases the Temperature, Timer, or
Clock settings.
Mode
Sets the mode:
Cool,
Dehumidify,
Fan Only, or
Heat (HS model) will
appear on the LCD.
Fan Speed
Sets the fan speed. The
High,
Medium or
Low
indicator will appear
on
the LCD depending on the mode you set.
Timer
Used to enable the timer.
F/C
Switches the temperature between
Fahrenheit and Celsius.
