Wall Sleeve Preparations Assembling the Koldfront Sleeve 1. Using the grounding screw and toothed washer, drill a 1/8" clearance hole (for the grounding screw) in a clear area about 3 inches back from the front edge of the sleeve through the left side. 2. Pull the loose end of the ground wire (green) out of the front of the sleeve. 3. Temporarily bend it down and around the lower edge of the sleeve. 4. This ground wire will later be attached to the frame of the Air Conditioner once it is installed. CAUTION: When installation is complete, the replacement unit MUST have a rearward slope as shown in the image to the left. Koldfront Through the Wall Air Conditioner 4

Assembling the Koldfront Sleeve
1. Using the grounding screw and toothed washer, drill a 1/8

clearance hole (for the grounding screw) in a clear area
about 3 inches back from the front edge of the sleeve
through the left side.
2. Pull the loose end of the ground wire (green) out of the front
of the sleeve.
3. Temporarily bend it down and around the lower edge of the
sleeve.
4. This ground wire will later be attached to the frame of the Air
Conditioner once it is installed.
