Solutions To Common Problems 41 Odors In Refrigerator Problem Interior is dirty. Cause • Interior needs to be cleaned. • Food with strong odors is stored in refrigerator. Correction • See Care & Cleaning Tips. • Cover food tightly. Turn on air filtration system. Air filter may need to be changed more frequently if foods with strong odors are routinely stored in refrigerator. Opening/Closing Of Doors/Drawers Problem Door(s) will not close. Drawers are difficult to move. Cause • Door was closed too hard, causing other door to open slightly. • Refrigerator is not level. It rocks on the floor when moved slightly. • Refrigerator is touching a wall or cabinet. • Food is touching shelf on top of drawer. • Track that drawers slide on is dirty. Correction • Close both doors gently. • Ensure floor is level and solid, and can adequately support the refrigerator.
