Contacting Customer Support If your printer is not operating properly and you cannot solve the problem using the troubleshooting information in Chapter 7, contact customer support services for assistance. See the section for your country below. We will be able to help you much more quickly if you give us the following information: Printer model: Serial number of your printer: (The serial number label is on the back of the printer.) Brand and model of your computer: Printer software version: (Click the About button in your printer driver.) Windows version (for example, NT, 95, or 3.1): Software application(s) you normally use with your printer and their version number(s): For United States and Canada Users If you purchased your printer in the United States or Canada, EPSON provides customer support through the following services: Electronic support services Service World Wide Web EPSON Internet FTP Site EPSON Download Service EPSON Forum on CompuServe® Access From the Internet, you can reach EPSON's home page at http://www.epson.com. If you have Internet FTP capability, use your Web browser (or other software for FTP downloading) to log onto ftp.epson.com with the user name anonymous and your e-mail address as the password. You can call the EPSON Download Service at (800) 442-2007. Set your communications software to 8 data bits, 1 stop bit, no parity. Modem speed can be up to 28.8 Kbps.
