Set Preferred memory in Photoshop 5.0 LE to twice the suggested memory size. (Select the Photoshop 5.0 LE desktop icon, then select File, Get Info.) 2. Turn Virtual memory OFF. (From the Apple icon, select Control Panel, Memory.) 3. Assign a scratch disk. (Start Photoshop 5.0 LE, then select File, Preferences, Plug-ins & Scratch Disks.) 4. Restart your Macintosh.
