Printer Lights The table below summarizes the functions of the printer lights. Light Red ) paper out Red H ink (eight) Green P power Meaning On: printer is out of paper, multiple sheets have fed, or the wrong size sheet has fed. Flashing: paper isn't loaded for the currently selected paper path, or paper is jammed. On: an ink cartridge is expended, or the Photo Black or Matte Black cartridges were swapped during printing. An ink cartridge is low on ink. Make sure you have a replacement cartridge, then follow the steps on page 84 to install it. An ink cartridge is expended, not installed, not installed correctly, or is not compatible with the printer. Follow the steps on page 84 to install or reinstall the cartridge correctly.
