Chapter 2 Building Environment - Registration of Device TM-T88VI-iHUB Use TM-T88VI Utility to configure device settings. For more details, see the TM-T88VI Utility User's Manual. Printer Setting Device ID Model IP Address Setting Value Enter the ID (any character string) of the printer to be controlled. Select the model of the printer to be controlled. Specify the IP address of the printer for each device ID. Customer Display Setting Turn Off Backlight * Code-page International character set Adjust Brightness Cursor Display Communication Settings for Customer Display * DM-D30 only. Setting Value Specifies the period of time until the backlight turns off. When "0" is specified, the light is always on. Selects the Code Page of the customer display. Selects an international character set of the customer display. Selects the brightness of the backlight. The default is "100%". Selects whether to display the cursor on the customer display screen. Specifies Communication speed, Parity, and Data Bit settings. Key input device Connecting key input devices to TM-T88VI-iHUB allows them to be automatically registered. Device IDs are also automatically configured. Setting Keyboard Layout Selects a keyboard type. Setting Value Serial communications Connecting serial communication device to TM-T88VI-iHUB allows them to be automatically registered. Device IDs are also automatically configured. 32
