B) INPUT 2 : Plug-in connection for instruments. this input exhibits a lower input sensitivity than INPUT 1 and is useful with active pre-amp guitars. Both inputs are identical when used together. C) GAIN : Adjust the amount of pre-amp ampl ification. A "cleaner sound is achieved with lower gain settings. High gain settings wi l l produce more distortion and sustain. this control works with the VOLUME (D) control to set the overal l loudness of the amp. D) VOLUME : Adjusts the overal l loudness of the ampl ifier. E) POWER SHIFT : This button provides a powerful pre-gain boost of mid-range frequencies. The POWER SHIFT function wi l l partial ly override the TREBLE and BASS controls. The POWER SHIFT feature is ideal for that "ki l ler" lead sound. F) TREBLE : Adjusts the amount of boost (accentuation) or cut (attenuation) of the high frequency range. G) BASS : Adjusts the amount of boost or cut in the lower frequency range. H) CONTOUR : Adjust the overal l tone qual ity. Lower CONTOUR settings wi l l provide mid -range boost and higher settings wi l l provide mid-range cut creating the type of sounds used in most "heavy metal" type music. I) REVERB : Adjust the overal l amount of reverberated signal mixed with the original "dry" signal. J) FOOTSWITCH : Plug-in connection for a remote footswitch to turn the Reverb on and off. The switch must be a standard push-on, push-off type. K) HEADPHONE : This jack provides an output to standard stereo or mono headphones for private l istening. NOTE: Use of this jack automatical ly disables the main speaker. CAUTION: Prolonged l istening at high levels may be hazardous to your hearing! This jack can also be used as an unbalanced l ine output. L) POWER INDICATOR: When this indicator is i l luminated, the ampl ifier is receiving poewr. M) POWER SWITCH : Turns AC power ON and OFF.
