36 BEFORE USING MICROWAVE Preparing Food for Microwave Cooking To avoid injury or damage to your appliance and to minimize cleaning, prepare food for microwave cooking as shown in Table 4. After reheating, stir well, if possible. Foods should be hot. If not, continue to heat using +30 to add more cook time. Wash and dry. Pierce at both ends and in center. Place on turntable.
