40 SETTING MICROWAVE CONTROLS Add Cook Time (+30 Sec) Pressing the START pad once starts cooking at 100% power with 30 seconds of cooking time. Pressing the START pad during cooking adds 30 seconds (for each press) to the cook time at the current power level. NOTE: The "+30sec" function is not available when using the Defrost or any of the Preset features. Defrost The auto defrost feature provides you with the best defrosting method for frozen foods. The cooking guide will show you which defrost sequence is recommended for the food you are defrosting. For added convenience, the Auto Defrost includes a built-in beep mechanism that reminds you to check, turn over, separate, or rearrange the food in order to get the best defrost results. Three different defrosting levels are provided: MEAT, POULTRY, and FISH. To set automatic defrost: 1. Press Defrost until the correct food type displays.
