Customizing the Unit Settings You can customize units of measure for distance and speed, elevation, temperature, weight, and position format. 1. Select MENU > > System > Units. 2. Select a setting. 3. Select a unit for the setting. System Setup Select MENU > > System > System Setup. • Language-sets the device language. • Tones-sets the audible tones. • Time Format-sets the time format to 12 hour or 24 hour. • Auto Power Down-see page 47. Settings Time Zones Each time you turn on the device and acquire satellites, the device automatically detects your time zone and the current time of day. Changing the Configuration Settings You can modify all of the settings you configured in the initial setup. 1. Select MENU > > System > Initial Setup > Yes. 2. Turn off the device. 3.
