• Do not set a hot carafe on a wet, cold or heat sensitive surface. • Do not operate the grinder without the bean hopper lid in position. Keep fingers, hands, hair, clothing and utensils away from the bean hopper during operation. Avoid contact with moving parts. • Check the grinder for presence of foreign objects before using. • Use the grinder to grind roasted coffee beans only. Grinding other substances, such as nuts, spices or unroasted beans may dull the burr and cause poor grinding or injury. • Always switch the appliance off by pressing the POWER button off. Remove the power plug from the power outlet before attempting to move the appliance, when the appliance is not in use and before cleaning and storing. Allow to cool before putting on or taking off parts, and before cleaning the appliance. • Keep the appliance and accessories clean.
