Troubleshooting Tips Problem Fan noise Convection fan not working Drawer does not slide smoothly or drags Lower oven drawer will not work Excessive condensation in the drawer Food dries out in the lower oven drawer Possible Causes The convection fan may turn on and off automatically. Preheat temperature not reached. The drawer is out of alignment. Drawer is overloaded or load is unbalanced. A fuse in your home may be blown or the circuit breaker tripped. The upper oven is self-cleaning. Controls improperly set. Liquid in drawer. Uncovered foods. Temperature setting too high. Moisture escaping. Oven drawer not fully closed. What To Do • This is normal. To maximize cooking evenness, the fan is designed to operate in both directions with a pause in between. • Fan will start automatically once the preheat temperature is reached. • Fully extend the drawer and push it all the way in. See the Care and cleaning of the range section. • Reduce weight. Redistribute drawer contents. • Replace the fuse or reset the circuit breaker. • Wait for the self-clean cycle to finish and the oven to cool. • See the Lower oven drawer section. • Remove liquid. • Cover food with lid or aluminum foil. • Reduce temperature setting. • Cover food with lid or aluminum foil. • Push drawer in until latch engages.
