Remove and reinstall filter cartridge, being certain that it locks in place. Check that the ice maker is turned on. See About the Automatic Ice Maker. Dispense water for at least 5 minutes to remove air from system. Wait 24 hours for temperature in both compartments to reach selected temperatures. The ice dispenser door may open after closing freezer door to allow access. *Some models do not come equipped with the filter bypass plug. To obtain a free bypass plug, call 800-GECARES.
