USING THE COOKTOP:(OHPHQW&\FOLQJ7XUQ3URGXFW2Q2II2SHUDWLQJ7KH&RRNLQJ(OHPHQWV Element Cycling Surface elements will cycle on and off to maintain the temperature you have selected. All radiant surface elements have a temperature limiter that protects the glass cooktop from getting too hot, this is normal. When the control is in any position other than Off, it may be rotated without pushing it down. You may feel a slight bump when it is rotated through the Lo or Hi positions. You may hear slight clicking sounds during cooking, indicating the control is keeping the power level you set. Ŷ $HOT SURFACE indicator light will glow when any radiant element is turned on and will remain on until the surface is cooled to approximately 150°F.
