Ice blocks the air flow and stops the air conditioner from cooling the room. The batteries are htserted incorrectly, The batteries may be dead. Hot, humid weather. The air conditioner is not tilted to the outside, Moisture removed from air and drahls into base pan. Ftmcfion error code. A power outage or htterrupdon occurred. What To Do • Make sure tile ah" conditioner ph N is pushed completely into tile outlet. * Check file house fltse/circuit bx_aker box and replace the flLse or reset the breakec * If t)o_er f_filure occm_, turn tile ;fir contfitioner Off When po_er is restored, \_;fit 3 minutes to restart the air conditioner to prevent triplling of tile compressor o_erload. * Press tile Reset button located on file po_er cord plug. • If the Reset button will not stay eng_|ged, discontinue use of tile ;fir conditioner and contact a qu;flified seLvice technician. * Make sure there are no curtains, blinds or fnmimxe blocking the fi'ont of tile ;fir con(fitioner. * On models with touc]L pads: Ill Cool mode, press the Decrease• pad. • On models wiflLcontrol knobs, turn file temperature knob to a higher nurrLbex: • Clean tile tilter at least eveiw 30 dm\s. See the Operating Instructiotis secti(;n. • When file air conditioner is first turned on, you need to allo\x time for tile room to cool dox_al. • Check for open thrnace registers and cold air returns. • Set the air conditioner's vent to the closed position. • See "Air conditionerfreezingup"bellm. • On models wiflLcontrol knobs, set tile mode control at High Fan or High Cool\\ith the temp at I or 2. • OIl Ulodels \_ith touch pads, set tile controls at High Fanor High Cool and set tile thermostat to a higher mmperature. • Check file position of tile batteries.
