Operating in SnapVUE™ 79 3.11 Adding Data Connections If you will be using more than one USIM/SIM card, you can add several data connections and manually enter the network settings of each USIM/SIM card's wireless service provider. To add a new GPRS, EDGE or 3G connection To add another GPRS, EDGE or 3G connection, make sure to obtain first the Access point name from your wireless service provider. Also, check if a user name and password are required. 1. Tap Settings on the Home screen and then tap Connections. 2. Tap Add a new modem connection. 3. On the Make New Connection screen, enter a name for the connection. 4. In the Select a modem list, select Cellular Line (GPRS, 3G) and then tap Next. 5. Enter the access point name and then tap Next. 6. Enter the user name and password, only if required. 7. Tap Finish. To add a new dial-up connection To set up a dial-up connection to your Internet Service Provider (ISP), you need the same settings that you normally use when you dial up from Windows Vista®. This includes the ISP server phone number, your user name and password. 1. Tap Settings on the Home screen and then tap Connections. 2. Tap Add a new modem connection.

Adding Data Connections
If you will be using more than one USIM/SIM card, you can add several data
connections and manually enter the network settings of each USIM/SIM
card’s wireless service provider.
To add a new GPRS, EDGE or 3G connection
To add another GPRS, EDGE or 3G connection, make sure to obtain first the
Access point name
from your wireless service provider. Also, check if a user
name and password are required.

Tap
Settings
on the Home screen and then tap
Connections
.

Tap
Add a new modem connection
.
3.
On the Make New Connection screen, enter a name for the
connection.
4.
In the
Select a modem
list, select
Cellular Line (GPRS, 3G)
and then
tap
Next
.
5.
Enter the access point name and then tap
Next
.
6.
Enter the user name and password, only if required.
7.
Tap
Finish
.
To add a new dial-up connection
To set up a dial-up connection to your Internet Service Provider (ISP), you
need the same settings that you normally use when you dial up from
Windows Vista®. This includes the ISP server phone number, your user name
and password.
