Deleting several conversations Messages 93 1. On the All messages screen, tap > Delete threads. 2. Select the conversation threads you want to delete. 3. Tap Delete. Any locked messages will not be deleted. Backing up your text messages 1. From the Home screen, tap > Messages. 2. Tap > Back up SMS > Back up SMS. 3. Enter a name for your backup file, and then tap OK. Backing up text messages via mail You need to set up your email account in Mail. 1. On the All messages screen, tap > Back up SMS. 2. Tap Back up SMS via mail. The Mail app's compose screen opens, with the backup file attached. 3. Enter your email address. 4. Compose your email message, and then tap Send.
