WALL INSTALLATION Construction and Installation NOTES: 1. B e certain that the location of the air conditioner in the wall conforms to all local building codes before installation. 2. C onsult with a qualified carpenter concerning installation. 3. W hen installing the air conditioner in a through-the-wall application, work from inside the room. 4. E ach through-the-wall installation may be unique; therefore no additional parts are included. 5. Be certain that the section of the wall being used: • Does not have electrical wiring in the location where the air conditioner will be installed. • Does not have plumbing pipes in the location where the air conditioner will be installed. • An existing electrical outlet that matches the power supply cord plug of the air conditioner. If no outlet exists or the wrong type of mating outlet is present, consult with a qualified electrician to install the proper outlet. • Does not support major structural components. • The finished sides of the wall opening should be structural wall members. • Outside areas are not blocked. • See "Electrical Requirements" for full detail. • Structural integrity of the wall must be maintained. 1. Be certain that the location of the air conditioner in the wall conforms to all local building codes
before installation.
2. Consult with a qualified carpenter concerning installation.
3. When installing the air conditioner in a through-the-wall application, work from inside the room.
4. Each through-the-wall installation may be unique; therefore no additional parts are included.
5. Be certain that the section of the wall being used:
• Does not have electrical wiring in the location where the air conditioner will be installed.
• Does not have plumbing pipes in the location where the air conditioner will be installed.
