For best results, unplug unit when finished cooking this type of rice. Do not "keep warm." • Rinsing rice will sometimes increase bubbling during cooking. When cooking a half pot or less of rice, minimize bubbling/overflow by reducing water by about one-third. • Allowing rice to "rest" for approximately 5-10 minutes after cooking will yield better-textured rice. • Give rice a flavor boost by substituting an equal amount chicken/beef/vegetable broth for water. • Note that the cook times listed here are approximate and for reference only.
