If using PULSE, blender will run at high speed only when PULSE button is held down. OPTIONAL 7. w WARNING Burn Hazard. Do not fill blender jar with hot liquid beyond 3-cup (710-ml) level. With protection of an oven mitt or thick towel, place one hand on top of lid. Keep exposed skin away from lid. Start blending at lowest speed. 8. At the end of blending cycle, press CANCEL button to stop blending. Turn off blender with the ON(I)/OFF( ) switch on right side of base. Unplug. 9. Lift quiet shield. 10. Remove blender jar. w WARNING Burn Hazard. Metal parts under blending jar get hot after extended use. 11. Pour with lid on. 7
