12. Your HealthRider® should not be used in any manner that is not expressly described in the training manual or video. Any such usage is at the sole risk and responsibility of the user. 13. If it becomes necessary to move your HealthRider®, seek assistance. Do not lift or slide the machine by yourself. Grasp the machine by the frame rather than the moving parts such as the handlebars and seat. Use appropriate lifting technique to avoid injury or strain. Always wear shoes and appropriate clothing when moving your HealthRider®. 14. HealthRider® recommends that you consult your physician before beginning any exercise program. If you are over forty, live a sedentary life style, smoke, have a heart condition or any limiting physical condition, do not undertake this program without your doctor's permission. LIMITED WARRANTY What Is Covered HealthRider, Inc. warrants to the original purchaser the HealthRider® home exercise machine to be free from defects in materials or workmanship, with the exceptions stated below. The warranty is not transferable or applicable to any person other than the original purchaser. Length of Coverage This warranty runs for five (5) years from the date you purchase your HealthRider®, except as to the main frame and timer/counter. The main frame, which includes all welded parts, is warranted for as long as you own your HealthRider®. The timer/counter is warranted for one year. To make this warranty effective, you must completely fill out the attached owner registration card and return it to HealthRider, Inc., 1276 South 500 West, Salt Lake City, Utah 84101, within thirty (30) days of your purchase of the HealthRider®. What Is Not Covered This warranty does not cover: • The battery in the timer/counter. • HealthRider() purchased for commercial or institutional use. • Damage due to use by persons who weigh more than 300 pounds. • Damage due to abuse, misuse, accident or acts of God (such as flood). • Consequential or incidental damages. Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitation or exclusion may not apply to you. What We Will Do We will repair any HealthRider() that proves to be defective in materials or workmanship. In the event repair is not possible, HealthRider, Inc. at its option, will either replace your HealthRider® or refund your purchase price How To Get Service Simply return the defective part of the HealthRider® to HealthRider, Inc. at 1276 South 500 West, Salt Lake City, Utah 84101 with an explanation as to the problem. For information, you may contact a service representative at 1-800-504-0300 or write to us at the above address, Attention Customer Service. Adequate protective packaging of defective parts or unit and costs of shipping to the above address are your responsibility. The repaired part or unit will be returned to you at the company's expense. How State Law Applies This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights which vary from state to state.
