Connecting other devices to the phone line In this section, you will decide what (if any) other devices to connect to the same phone line as the HP LaserJet 3150 product and then connect those devices. Deciding what else to connect In the previous step, you connected the HP LaserJet 3150 product to a wall socket for the phone line. Generally, there are only three other devices you might want or need to connect to the same phone line: q a telephone q an answering machine q an external modem or a computer with an internal modem.
