Duplex Unit (for 2-sided Printing) The HP Color LaserJet 4700 printer is equipped with automatic 2-sided printing (duplexing), which allows you to print on both sides of supported media. Automatic 2-sided printing is not supported for certain media types, including transparencies, labels, envelopes, heavy, extra heavy, cardstock, and glossy film. NOTE The HP Color LaserJet 4700 printer supports smart duplexing. The printer detects information on both sides of the print job pages and runs the pages through the duplexing unit only if printable information appears on the second side of the page. PostScript tab features To gain access to the PostScript tab, follow these steps: 1. Click Start. 2. Select Settings. 3. Click Printers. 4. Right-click the printer name. 5. Click Properties. 6. Click the PostScript tab. The PostScript tab controls the PostScript functions for the PS Emulation Driver. The following figure shows the PostScript tab.
