Basic testing has been performed by HP with this unsupported configuration and the following significant issues have been observed. Anomaly: Drivers are reported as unsigned during installation. Description: During installation of Synaptics touch pad, Intel video, Quick Launch Buttons, audio and modem drivers, a message reporting that these drivers are unsigned will appear. This is due to the lack of system IDs for the 6510b and 6710b in the driver files. Systems Affected: HP Compaq 6510b and 6710b Notebook PC models Operating Systems Affected: Windows 2000 Resolution: Bypass this message and continue installation. Anomaly: Hitting Fn-F4 after hot docking will cause a blue screen. Description: After docking with the system on, hitting Function-F4 to switch video output will generate a Windows blue screen.
