PAM NTLM • Supports Password Expiration Password expiration now works on non-trusted HP-UX systems. Refer to the CIFS/9000 Client manual for configuration details. • Password change supports try_first_pass and use_first_pass options. PAM NTLM module can be stacked with other PAM modules for password change. Refer to Notes, Cautions and Warnings in the Additional Background Information section below. • PAM NTLM now returns correct error codes for Authentication errors. PAM NTLM returns correct error codes so that the applications can return appropriate error messages in case of authentication failures. 11
