Important Update! English USB Connection for Windows 98 Users If you are connecting more than one device at the same time, you may encounter problems installing the HP DeskJet 990C Series printer. Follow these instructions to complete installation for a USB cable connection. 1 Follow steps 1 through 8 on the Quick Start poster. 2 Click OK when the Insert Disk screen appears. The Copying Files... screen informs you that the file hpzuci01.dll cannot be found. 3 Click Browse. The Open screen is displayed. 4 Select the following path to locate the hpzuci01.dll file: c:\Program Files>Hewlett-Packard>hpz>glue 5 Click OK. The Copying Files... screen reappears with the correct path and file name inserted in the Copy files from field. 6 Click OK. You are returned to the HP DeskJet 990C screen. 7 Click Install HP DeskJet 990C Series printer software. The HP DeskJet 990C Installer screen appears. 8 Click Next, then follow on-screen instructions to complete installation.
