For mezzanine card signal mapping, see "Interconnect bay numbering and device mapping (on page 18)" and the HP ProLiant BL2x220c Generation 5 Server Blade Installation Instructions that ship with the server blade. To install the component: 1. Power down the server blade (on page 13). 2. Remove the server blade (on page 14). 3. Access the internal server components (on page 14). 4. Remove the mezzanine connector cover. CAUTION: To prevent damage to the server blade, apply pressure over the mezzanine connector when installing the mezzanine card. Do not apply pressure to the edges of the card. 5. Install the mezzanine card. Press down on the connector to seat the card. Hardware options installation 25
