Select the Install/Uninstall tab. 3 If you can see Cheyenne Quip in the list of programs that can be automatically removed by Windows: a) Click on the Cheyenne Quip entry in the list of programs to select it. b) Click the Add/Remove button. c) In the Cheyenne Quip Setup dialog box, click the Uninstall button. Choose Yes when asked "Do you want to restart your computer now?". Modem is not responding. Hardware failure. If you can't see Cheyenne Quip in the list of programs that can be automatically removed by Windows, click Cancel in the Add/Remove Programs Properties dialog box. 4 To access the communications software, click Start, HP centers, Communication, then "Set up your answering machine". 5 The communications setup program is now launched. Follow the instructions on page 4, starting from step 4. Run modem diagnostics from the diagnostics toolkit: 1 Click the Start button, HP support center, then Solve your problem now, then "If you have trouble with communications applications". 2 Click Yes. 30 English
