It is sent along with each SNMP Set-Request and allows (or denies) access to device. The default value is "private". This is applicable if the agent is configured to operate in SNMPv1. USER_NAME A human-readable string representing the name of the varchar 64 user. This is applicable if the agent is configured to operate in SNMPv3.
