If your software does not define the page size in the print file, the front-panel setting is used. Otherwise, the software setting overrides the front-panel setting. Margins The margins are set to ensure the maximum printable area on your paper. The two side margins are 5.0 mm. The margin settings for the leading and trailing edges are 17 mm. Printing Area The printing area is the page size minus the margins. For a table showing the printing areas for standard paper sizes, see Printable Area. Inked Area inked area is the smallest rectangle that contains the entire image.
