Cisco MDS 8Gb Fabric Switch for HP BladeSystem c-Class Installation Instructions Overview Read these instructions to install the Cisco MDS 8Gb Fabric Switch for HP BladeSystem c-Class. Kit contents The Cisco MDS 8Gb Fabric Switch kit contains: • Cisco MDS 8Gb Fabric Switch for HP BladeSystem c-Class Installation Instructions. • One of the following switches: • Cisco MDS 8Gb 24-Port Fabric Switch, with sixteen internal and eight external active ports and four 8Gb Small Form-factor Pluggables (SFP) installed. • Cisco MDS 8Gb 12-Port Fabric Switch, with sixteen internal and eight external active ports and two 8Gb SFPs installed. • HP HW/SW Service Registration letter. • HP End User License Agreement letter. • Cisco China RoHS substance table. • A small bag containing black, plastic SFP covers for inserting in empty ports where SFP optical transceivers are not installed.
