Hardware Upgrades 1. Open the computer by removing its outside cover. See the procedures for removing the computer access panel. 2. Install any optional equipment. See the applicable sections of this guide or the documentation provided with the optional equipment for instructions. 3. Replace the computer access panel. 4. Turn on the monitor, computer, and any devices you want to test. 5. Reconfigure the computer, if necessary. Refer to the Computer Setup (F10) Utility Guide for instructions about using Computer Setup. Removing the Computer Access Panel To remove the computer access panel: 1. Shut down the operating system properly, then power off the computer and any external devices. 2.
