8. When installing the touchpad and bracket, be sure that the rubber bumper is installed on the bottom of the touchpad bracket in the location shown in the following illustration. If you replace the module and then receive a warning message, remove the module to restore device functionality, and then contact technical support. Before removing the WLAN module, follow these steps: 1. Prepare the computer for disassembly (Preparation for disassembly on page 28). 2. Remove the bottom cover (see Bottom cover on page 28). 3. Disconnect the battery cable from the system board (see Battery on page 29). Remove the WLAN module: 1. Remove the Phillips M2.0 × 3.0 screw (1) that secures from the bracket on the WLAN module, and then remove the bracket (2). 2. Disconnect the antenna cables from the module terminals (3). 3. Remove the module (4) by pulling it away from the slot at an angle.
