Inserting a battery that does not comply with HP requirements might cause the unit to malfunction and will void the HP iPAQ limited warranty. To install the removable/rechargeable battery in the HP iPAQ hw6500 Mobile Messenger series: 1. Press the battery release button on the battery cover, and then slide off the cover. 2. Insert the battery at an angle (metal contact side first) 1, and then seat the battery 2. 3. Be sure the pull tab is exposed so the battery can be removed, if needed. 4.
