When installing the PIP foil

1. If any of the gaps shown above is less than 5 mm or more than 6 mm from the PIP slot, at either end of the PIP, replace the PIP underlayer using the PIP Underlayer Replacement wizard of Print Care UI. a. During the replacement, make sure that the PIP underlayer is flush with the edge of the PIP slot. b. Do not hold the PIP underlayer while inching as this might cause it to stretch. 2. When installing the PIP foil, make sure that the PIP underlayer is made partially wet with imaging oil on a lint-free wipe. 3. When installing the PIP foil, use only imaging oil on the PIP foil trailing edge to prevent it from loosening. 4.
