This document is intended for HP Indigo WS6000 Series Digital Presses and the HP Indigo 8000 Digital Press for which the HP Indigo ElectroInk Fade Resistant option has been purchased. Introduction Fade resistant inks expand the breadth of applications to products exposed to direct sunlight. The new Fade Resistant Orange ink, together with the Fade Resistant Yellow and Magenta inks, Violet ink for packaging, and the regular Cyan, Black, and Green inks, complete a full 7 color set with lightfastness of 6-7 on the Blue Wool scale, under outdoor sunlight conditions. The new ink has been qualified for use only on HP Indigo WS6000 Series Digital Presses and the HP Indigo 8000 Digital Press. When printing jobs requiring the functionality of the HP Indigo ElectroInk Fade Resistant inks, these inks replace the regular HP Indigo ElectroInk Yellow, Magenta, and Orange on the press. Introduction
Fade resistant inks expand the breadth of applications to products exposed to direct sunlight.
The new Fade Resistant Orange ink, together with the Fade Resistant Yellow and Magenta inks, Violet ink for
packaging, and the regular Cyan, Black, and Green inks, complete a full 7 color set with lightfastness of 6-7 on
the Blue Wool scale, under outdoor sunlight conditions.
