1 What's New? This chapter lists what is new for the HP Version Control Agent and HP Version Control Repository Manager releases. HP Version Control Agent (VCA) adds the following enhancements with the current release: • Support for SAS and SATA disk drive firmware smart components. • Support for selecting multiple components for deployment. • Support for Internet Protocol version 6 (IPv6) coexistence. • Support of VCA on the virtualized guest environment. • Support for automatic dependency checking feature based on HPSUM availability in VCRM. HP Version Control Repository Manager (VCRM) adds the following enhancements with the current release: • Support for Online System BIOS ROM flash components. • Support for Internet Protocol version 6 (IPv6) coexistence. • Support of VCRM on the virtualized guest environment. 7
