Planning the installation Installation Process Figure 1-5 Installation Process The installation process involves preparing the server for the OS, loading the OS on the server, and updating the system with the latest firmware, drivers, utilities, security fixes, and OS fixes. Figure 1-5 shows the main tasks involved in each stage.
