NOTE: The procedure described for opening the 1 MB hole applies to any card (including multiplexor cards) that can be installed in the 15M address range. If you did not open the addressing hole, or if you installed the card before opening up the hole, you will encounter a memory parity error when trying to configure a line in the ICA card after VINES is installed and running. It may be necessary to clear the CMOS with the CONFIG VALID to recover from this problem before making the configuration corrections.
