HP Integrated Lights-Out 3 ProLiant SL390s G7 server trays include iLO 3 management. You can upgrade your iLO 3 firmware with an iLO Advanced license. For environments with elevated security requirements, iLO 3 includes an Advanced Encryption Standard (AES) encryption engine. AES is an encryption standard adopted by the U.S. government (FIPPS PUBS 197). iLO 3 provides strong AES encryption with better performance than a softwarebased solution. iLO 3 also provides IPMI over LAN and DCMI management interfaces for environments requiring simple standards-based monitoring and control. Server deployment The HP ProLiant Easy Set-up CD provides utilities to streamline server setup. It provides the same functionality as HP SmartStart: • Boot environment and GUI • Assisted Installation: Windows 2003 Server and Windows 2008 Server drivers • Manual installation: Windows 2003 Server, Windows 2008 Server, and Linux drivers (Specific OS support varies by server.
