2 msConfigure msConfigure Configures the Management Server (MS) access control list (ACL). Synopsis msconfigure Description Use this command to configure the MS Access Control List (ACL). The MS allows a Storage Area Network (SAN) management application to retrieve and administer the fabric and Interconnect Elements, such as switches. This application is located at the Fibre Channel well-known address, 0xFFFFFA. If the MS ACL is empty (default), The MS is available to all systems connected to the fabric. By populating the MS ACL with one or more World Wide Names (WWNs), you can restrict access to MS to the specified WWNs. This command is interactive and provides the following choices: 0 Done 1 Display the access list 2 Add member based on its port/node WWN 3 Delete member based on its port/node WWN When changing the MS ACL by adding or deleting WWNs, you are prompted to save the new configuration to nonvolatile storage. The saved MS ACL becomes effective upon reboot. The MS ACL is implemented on a per-switch basis and should be configured on the switch to which the management application is directly connected. Notes When FCS policy is enabled, the MS ACL is not used. In such a case, access to MS is controlled by security by way of the MS_POLICY configuration. The execution of this command is subject to Admin Domain restrictions that may be in place. Refer to chapter 1, "Understanding Admin Domain Restrictions" and Appendix A, "Command Availability" for details. This command is supported only in AD0 and AD255 contexts.
