Issue Description 28761 HP ExDS9100cc controller has amber LED and H1 or H2 code in the 7-segment display. If and ExDS9100cc controller has an amber LED and the 7-segment display shows a code of H1 or H2, this could indicate a failure of one of the ExDS9100cx I/O modules. The H1 or H2 code means that the controller (1 or 2) has been forced to shut down by its peer controller. Workaround: Check the GSI failure LED on the front of the ExDS9100cx enclosure. If the GSI LED is not lit, check the cables connecting the ExDS9100cc controller and the I/O modules. Be careful not to detach the cables connected to the working ExDS9100cc controller. After the cables are re-seated, slide out and then reinsert the ExDS9100cc controller (the controller with the amber LED) to cause it to reboot. If the 7-segment display returns to "on" after the reboot process, you have cleared the fault. If this has not resolved the fault, contact HP Support for more information. Description
Issue
HP ExDS9100cc controller has amber LED and H1 or H2 code in the 7-segment display.
If and ExDS9100cc controller has an amber LED and the 7-segment display shows a code of H1 or
H2, this could indicate a failure of one of the ExDS9100cx I/O modules. The H1 or H2 code means
that the controller (1 or 2) has been forced to shut down by its peer controller.
Workaround:
Check the GSI failure LED on the front of the ExDS9100cx enclosure.
If the GSI LED is not lit, check the cables connecting the ExDS9100cc controller and the I/O modules.
Be careful not to detach the cables connected to the working ExDS9100cc controller. After the cables
are re-seated, slide out and then reinsert the ExDS9100cc controller (the controller with the amber
LED) to cause it to reboot. If the 7-segment display returns to "on" after the reboot process, you have
cleared the fault.
If this has not resolved the fault, contact HP Support for more information.
