A Troubleshooting Solving Common Problems The following table lists possible problems, the possible cause of each problem, and the recommended solutions. Problem Screen is blank. Possible Cause Power cord is disconnected. Power switch on front panel of the monitor is turned off. Master power switch on rear panel of the monitor is turned Off. Video cable is improperly connected. Screen blanking utility is active. Solution Connect the power cord. Press the front panel power button. Turn the master power switch to On. Connect the video cable properly. Refer to Chapter 3, Setting Up the Monitor, for more information. Press any key on the keyboard or move the mouse to inactivate the screen blanking utility.
